Postdoctoral Positions
We currently do not have open positions for postdoctoral positions but highly encourage you to apply for scholarship/fellowship programmes. Please contact Ken first if you are interested in any postdoctoral experience at MoSPSyDe.

Available Scholarships

1. Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKYPDF)

  • Eligibility: Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university
  • Timeline: Typically Nov–Feb (Currently closed)

2. Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship (PPF)

  • Eligibility: Within 5 years of obtaining PhD or equivalent degree
  • Timeline: TBA

3. The Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship

  • Eligibility: Within 3 years of having obtained PhD degree or equivalent degree in non-computer science areas
  • Timeline: Typically December

4. NTU AI-for-X Postdoctoral Fellowship

  • Eligibility: PhD conferred within the past 3 years in a STEM field
  • Timeline: Typically October

5. SG Academies South-East Asia Fellowship

  • Eligibility: ASEAN citizen (non-Singapore citizen or PR) with PhD
  • Timeline: Typically August

6. External fellowship from your country

PhD Student Positions
NTU has two intakes annualy: August and January. The deadline is usually five months prior to the admission.
  • All students need to fulfil the admission requirements at CCEB.
  • All applicants (except for self-funded students) are strongly encouraged to apply for NTU scholarships (you need to declare in the application).
  • Prospective students may consider external scholarship opportunities or self-funding since funded positions are very limited.
    • A*STAR Graduate Scholarship: carefully read the website since eligibility is limited.
    • External graduate scholarship from your home countries or industrial funding
    • Please check here to consider a self-funding option.

Visiting Research Opportunities
We are always welcome for visiting researchers regardless of levels and visiting durations. Interested candidates are welcome to send their CVs and motivation letters (indicating the purpose, timeline, and grant situations) to Prof. Ken.
